2020 Subaru Outback Redesign, Changes, Concept, Release, Price. It is an attractive crossover SUV which offers very good engine choices, roomy interior, and plenty of standard and optional features. The upcoming 2020 model year probably won’t get any larger changes.
2020 Subaru Outback Engine and performance
The new 2020 Subaru Outback will most likely return with the same engines as before and there are two options. This engine works with a continuously variable transmission and comes with all-wheel drive system as standard.
The optional engine is a 3.6-liter flat-6 which can develop 256 hp and 247 pound-feet of torque. This unit also pairs with a CVT and all-wheel drive configuration is standard.
2020 Subaru Outback Design of exterior and interior
The 2020 Subaru Outback will most likely continue with its wagon-like, crossover shape with a rugged appearance which we find attractive. We will also notice the familiar roof racks which are standard on every trim level.
All the 2020 Subaru Outbacks will come with standard two-row seating configuration. The base model will come with cloth seats while the leather upholstery is standard on higher trim levels. The Outback has the cargo room of 36 cubic feet.
The standard equipment of every model includes a 6.5-inch touchscreen for infotainment and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, power features, Bluetooth, cruise control, automatic headlamps, and so on. The higher trims will add an 8.0-inch touchscreen, dual-zone climate control, four USB ports, heated front seats, and many other features.
2020 Subaru Outback Release date and price
It is not yet confirmed, but the 2020 Subaru Outback might be presented sometime in the middle of 2019. The price is not yet known, and we assume that it might start at around $26,500.
